CRUISE ITINERARIES

 It is another 10 days before we will be boarding Mariner up in Vancouver, Canada as I write this blog post.  I thought I would post the itineraries of the 43 nights total that we will be on board.  This is actually 4 cruises back-to-back.  The second itinerary below is actually two cruises as we will return to LA on October 15th as you may note.  We are really excited that our son, Jeff, will be joining us for the last 9 night segment.

So we received our 3rd covid booster, which is the "newest" Pfizer vaccine, and flu shots on September 7th so we should be fully protected for this cruise.  We are very thankful for this.  Regent is now checking you in online 3 weeks prior to cruises so I printed our boarding passes for the cruise on August 31st.

Canada requires us to have a negative PCR covid test 72 hours prior to arriving at the port or an antigen test 48 hours prior.  As we will be flying to Vancouver early on the morning of the 19th and spending two nights in the Hilton Downtown, we will be getting our PCR tests at the Urgent Care clinic here in Durango on Sunday afternoon on the 18th.  Our time to be at the pier on boarding day, the 21st, is 12:30pm.  So we will be within the 72 hours from testing.  Canada also requires us to submit online an ArriveCAN form with our arriving flight info, passport and vaccination copies downloaded.  I can do this no more than 72 hours prior to arriving in Canada.  Sure will be glad when all the hoops and hurtles are over and we are sipping a cocktail on board Mariner.
