1) On August 31st I checked us in online with Regent and got our ship's boarding passes. We were assigned a time to arrive at the cruise terminal for boarding. Our time is 12:30 PDT.
2) ArriveCAN--To fly into Canada they require this online form to be submitted no more than 72 hours prior to arriving. They want the following downloaded onto it: Copy of passports, copy on CDC covid vaccination cards. Plus they want your airline flight info and where you will be staying. Completed this yesterday (Saturday) and have received our ArriveCAN E-Receipt. The airline and Canadian customs will want to see this.
3) We will be flying on United Airlines to Denver connecting on to Vancouver tomorrow. United required me to upload our passports, vaccination records, and ArriveCan receipt onto their website. This was also completed Saturday.
4) Today (Sunday), I checked in for our flights and printed boarding passes for both flights. Flying in first class. Flight departs Durango for Denver at 7:30am tomorrow (Monday, 19th).
5) We are also required (I believe by Canada but may be Regent) to get a covid PCR test 72 hours prior to arriving at the cruise terminal for boarding. So we accomplished this at the Urgent Care in Durango at 3:30 this afternoon which was 70 hours prior to our assigned pier arrival time mentioned in #1.
Test Results: NEGATIVE OUCH, it cost $200 each for the tests.
Ok, all packed and ready to head to the airport early tomorrow. Scott, our next door neighbor, is supposed to be back from his motorcycle trip this evening and will drop us at the airport tomorrow.
Next post will be from Vancouver.
