DAY 1 PHOTOS

For better viewing of my photos, click on them to enlarge.

Taken from our balcony of the huge Princess Cruises ship docked next to us and blocking our ship's internet.

Beautiful orchid and another flower arrangement along with a nice bottle of Veuve Cliequot champagne in our suite.

We asked Aries, our suite steward, for an extra chest of drawers which we put in our walk in closet.
At 6:15 we went down to the Mariner bar for some pre-dinner drinks.  This is Victoria (she spelled it differently) the bartender there.  She is from the Ukraine and an excellent bartender.

Anthony, from Peru, was waiting tables in the bar.  We had a very nice chat with him.  He said he just got engaged.
I had a couple Makers Mark Manhattans.  I brought my own Woodford Reserve bitters from home and Victoria is keeping it there for me.
Vladan is the head bartender and is responsible for all the bars on board.  He is from Serbia and just started working for Regent a couple weeks ago.  He is a very nice young man and we had a long chat with him.  I asked him to send up a bottle of Woodford Reserve bourbon to our suite.
Roderick, wine sommelier, is a long time friend of ours whom we cruised with several times.  He served our wine for our dinner in Prime 7.
Wayan, from Bali Indonesia, was our waiter.  I asked him if he was a Bali mafia guy.  I call all the Bali crew members "Bali Mafia".  They love it.
I started with this excellent crab cake.  We both had salads and 10 ounce filets.  The choice is either 6 ounce or 10 ounce filet sizes.  They really need to offer 8 ounce instead of the too big 10 ounce.
Of course no Prime 7 dinner would be complete with a popcorn sundae.
We were exhausted after dinner so skipped going to the theater for the welcome aboard variety showtime.  Instead we retired to our suite.
