DAY 18---AT SEA OFF COAST OF BAJA CALIFORNIA

Our position (yellow arrow) show us about half way from Cabo to Ensenada, Mexico.  Smooth seas, sunny skies, and 74 degrees at noon.

LAST NIGHT:

Sun setting a 7:01 last evening.

Half way down
Sometimes if the atmospheric conditions are just right, there is a green flash just as the sun disappears. No flash here.
My entree was this beef bourguignon.  Way too much to eat and not that good this time.  I told Dara to not let me order it again next segment.
Rich & Ginny Wiseman's daughter, Shauna, was celebrating her birthday last night and they sent us over a couple pieces of her birthday cake.  Really good cake!  Rich & Ginny live in the retirement community in downtown Santa Fe that Rebecca and I are very interested in.  Few years from how however.

After dinner we came back to the suite and watched the end of the Alabama-Texas A&M game which was being streamed on Paramount Plus which we subscribe to.  Alabama and Tennessee are the two college teams she loves to watch and cheer for.  Alabama won.  As soon as the game was over I raced down to the show which was just starting.
Jeri Sager has a great voice but I did not care for her song choices.  Old Broadway tunes.  Just stayed for about 15 minutes then retired.
At 10pm I went on Regent's website to book our Prime 7 reservations for the seven segments of January's 143 night world cruise.  Regent's website has been absolutely horrible for years and last night was no exception.  It took me 45 minutes to make 6 reservations.  Should have taken 10 minutes at most.  Even then there were errors.  So now I will have to get up at 5:30am tomorrow which will be 8:30 Miami time (Monday) when the reservations office opens to make changes, or at least try to.  I was NOT happy!!!

TODAY:

Sunday's is caviar & champagne during breakfast.  So we went down to Compass Rose for breakfast.  I had a double order of caviar and half of an eggs benedict.  Rebecca had two eggs over easy with bacon.  Then I stopped to see if Jacques, the cruise consultant, could help with my dining reservations.  Said he couldn't so I talked to William, the Executive Concierge, who also was no help.
We changed and headed to the fitness center to do our hour on the treadmills.  Surprisingly, all 4 were working and we could get right on them.
My salmon at lunch yesterday was so good I had it again today.  Not a huge piece but just right.
This afternoon we will be following the Dallas Cowboys vs LA Rams game on our phones.  Can't stream and watch it but there is play-by-play on internet.
At 6pm there is a Seven Seas Society cocktail party in the theater.  So we asked Siva to bring our poppers and my Manhattan early at 5:30 as we plan to attend this event.
As I mentioned last segment, the menu on SSS party night includes miso glazed sea bass.  As you see here they are still substituting black cod in its place.  HOWEVER, Benji has arranged with the chef to prepare miso sea bass for us.  SPOILED!!  I asked for a double order!
The comedian has his second show after dinner but not going.  I did not sleep well again last night so will hit-the-hay early, so to speak.  Need to get up early tomorrow.
We should be docked in Ensenada, Mexico, from 10am to 7pm tomorrow.
