Our position today is docked at Berth 93 in the Port of Los Angeles. Beautiful sunny day, 74 degrees.
LAST NIGHT:
Yesterday evening I decorated our door for Halloween. Our neighbors put there bags out during the evening so they can be collected for disembarking.

I had about a glass of the carmenere left from last night then I had Janine serve this Italian red. We dined up in Sette Mari.
Nenlia was helping Skinny our waiter last night.
Another huge veal parmesan for me. Rebecca has a small order of penne pasta with bolognese sauce. I shared some veal with her.
After dinner I went up to deck 12 and took photos of the city and ship lights at night time.USS Midway lights Another great show by Mark Preston.
As usual on last night of a cruise people are getting ready to go home and blow off going to the show.
TODAY:
VERY EXCITING DAY AS OUR SON, JEFF IS COMING ON BOARD FOR THE NEXT 9 DAY CRUISE SEGMENT!!
When I went down to get our double shot Americano coffees at 7:30 I got to say good bye to Mark. Siva delivered our breakfast at 8:00. I decided to have some eggs too this morning. At 8:00 they started the disembarkation process. Everyone was off the ship by 9:15. Another very busy day for all the suite stewards trying to get all the suites cleaned and ready for the newly boarding guests by 2pm.
Rebecca had the fitness center all to herself this morning. I did my hour walking up on deck 12 in the fresh air.
This is the bridge from Long Beach to San Pedro where we are docked. Jeff's Uber will bring him across it around 11:30 or so. I told him to wave as this is our view from balcony today. Other side of ship has view of the terminal. YUK! Bunkering (refueling barge) below our balcony this morning.NCL cruise line "Bliss" also in port. We were told it is a charter cruise leaving this evening. Chartered by the group "Kiss". Last group I ever want to see! Ship capacity is 4000 passenger with 1700 crew.
They were cleaning all the balconies and windows this morning.
Jeff coming aboard and greeted by one of the production cast dancers.
Champagne offered to everyone during boarding.

While waiting for Jeff I had Hugo, internet mgr, resign in our two cell phones and my laptop to the streaming quality internet ($10 per day extra charge, regular speed internet is complimentary) As Titanium status we get 4 devices so I signed Jeff's cell phone onto our account after he boarded.
I brought him to our suite as his was not ready until 2pm. We went up to La Veranda for a bite of lunch then gave him a tour of the ship. We introduced Jeff to several officers and crew friends we ran into at lunch and during our tour.
He is now getting settled in and awaiting his luggage. I am working on this blog post and Rebecca will be watching her soaps soon.
This is the same suite we had for the first cruise segment.
Our plans for this evening is cocktail hour here in our suite with dinner to follow at 7pm in Prime 7. I have ordered a special wine for dinner--Caymus Cabernet. We will probably go to the "Welcome Variety Show" at 9:30.
